So here I am, presentation to give tomorrow at the Technology in NeuroRehab study afternoon in Aylesbury, and my boss, Andrew Bateman suggesting starting a blog on how I both delve and progress into the world of technology and social media.  As I researched this with the help of the College of Occupational Therapy website I realise there is so much to learn.

The presentation I’m giving is about “Using social media as continuation of contact and support.” It’s about how we set up a Facebook page for our past client user group.  It’s given me the opportunity to review the page, nearly two years from it starting, and to conduct a survey on what clients think of the site.  Both have been really interesting, but it’s what we as a Centre and past clients do next with this information.  Plan at present is see how the presentation goes down tomorrow, hopefully it will generate some questions and discussions, keep the survey going to Christmas, present findings to staff team and the user group – through our meeting and the Facebook page and then come up with a cunning plan!!!

In relation to this site I’m aware various things need editing particularly photos – it will happen in time …………
